This forum isn't about the Lakers tonight. It's about how the Spurs let the Nets not have the worst record in NBA history.

Lakers have nothing to play for. They cant catch the cavs, the magic cant pass them... and neither can anyone in the West.

This wasnt the Hornets winning, it was just the Lakers not caring.

26-21 from Gasol and a 30 point game from Cubby is caring.

Lakers lack of depth shows its ugly head once again.

son this was a very nice win for the Hornets. the Lakers are almost becoming just as fun as the Mavericks whenever they come to town ... no wait, I don't mean that. The Mavs are incredible entertainment when playing in New Orleans. choke jobs, vicious beat downs, etc. you never know what you're in for when Dallas comes to town!

Yet another game where not having Bynum's presence inside hurts them. So much for all that bullshit that they're better without him.

son the Lakers team leader Gasol did everything he could to lead them to victory. 26pts and 21rbds is outstanding.

Lol to Lakers fans trying to divert attention.... Thought Spurs were done from your perspective anways? We ll get ours tonight, but not from a Laker fan- and vice versa...

Bynum & Gasol would of dropped 50-60 combined tonight if both of em played..No surprises, this team just thinks they can play hard for 15-20 minutes a game & get by ..They actually got within 5 when they started trying in the 4th quarter & was too little too late..Not mad at the hornets, they had a sold out crowd & just went out there & took care of business.

This forum isn't about the Lakers tonight. It's about how the Spurs let the Nets not have the worst record in NBA history.

common denominator is that both teams LOST to teams they should've beaten tonight. So it's much about the Lakers as it is about the Spurs.

I'm not surprised the Spurs lost-I expected it....team has been playing inconsistenly all year...this doesn't surprise me.....nor upset me.....I've said all year I don't expect the Spurs to make much noise in the playoffs this year.

But the Laker loss surprised me.....I expected them to go 4-1 at best....so what's their excuse? Conserving energy for the playoffs, bored, not challenged in the West?

The Lakers have absolutely nothing to play for. Whereas the Spurs are fighting it out for playoff positioning with a massively tough schedule coming up. They needed tonight's game. The Lakers didn't. Also Hornets>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Nets
