Pop...Manu would have played if Pop treated it as a must win.

The correct answer is it doesn't matter. If your team is so bad that you can't beat a 9 win team without your #1 and #2 players, then you deserve to be pitted against the lakers first round anyway.

And even that doesn't matter. I don't give a shit if we beat a bunch of non-laker teams in the playoffs only to lose to the lakers in the WCF. Losing to them in the WCF and losing to them 1st round makes no difference to me. If you can't beat the lakers, you're not getting a championship.

If you can't beat a 9 win nets team without parker/ginobili, you're probably not going to win a championship anyway. Rule of 3, you need 3 CONSISTENT all star caliber players on a team to have a shot. We have one now and he's out with back spasms, we have another who's out with a broken hand.

I actually like this loss because if anything it's a much needed kick in the rear "wake up call" for Duncan. He was getting too complacent out there. I don't mind missed shots or loss of athleticism, I just didn't see the fire in his eyes as of recent. He just looks stoic and too complacent out there. I think this is the kind of loss that sparks some passion into him.

None of the above?

Losing to the Nets sucks, but losing Manu would be downright devastating.

Pop...Manu would have played if Pop treated it as a must win.

I'd go with this one, but POP should be thinking avoiding Manu's heroism, we can't afford any extra injury thinking in playoff.

Pop and Duncan, Pop for treat this game as a win-win scenario.
Duncan for his lack of leadership, i didnīt see him lead the team in any aspect, nor vocal or by example last night.
3 for 7 in the 4th?? Please... Bonner taking 3 of the last 7 shots? (making only one of course) He should have taken over.

WTF do you think the difference is between a bottom feeder and a contender anyway? I think it might just be two All Star/All NBA players. YMMV.
