From last year - I don't remember seeing it on this board. It's from a biographical article on Knick Bavetta.

---------------------
The ball trickles out of bounds under San Antonio's basket, right in front of Dick Bavetta. He looks at the Spurs' Tim Duncan and says, "Off you, Portland ball."
An exasperated Duncan tells Bavetta he missed the call. Bavetta says he didn't. A timeout ensues and Duncan, with a pleading look on his face, tells Bavetta he'll bet money that he missed the call.
Bavetta is quick to tell Duncan he can't bet money but he will bet him a hamburger that his call was correct. Duncan agrees.
"I looked at the play after the game, and guess what? Duncan's right. I missed the call," Bavetta says. "Ten days later I'm in San Antonio. I stop at a McDonald's on the way to the game and get a Happy Meal. I put it in a box with a note on it that said, 'Tim, you're right. I missed the call. Enjoy the burger,' and had a ball boy give it to him before the game.
"Tim came out and said, 'I'm really going to eat good tonight.' "
"That's Dick for you," Duncan says smiling.
