It was a foul. Laimbeer jumped into Abdul-Jabbar's shoulder on the shot. If you want to see an injustice in that series, it was Laker fans and the cameramen in Laimbeer's way when he inbounded the ball the last few seconds of game 7 while down 3.

After that play in game 7, the NBA started having security rope off the floor in situations like that to keep people from impacting games.

What do I think? I don't really care. However, if a foul isn't called on Laimbeer, Worthy is wide open to rebound the miss and dunk it (He got away from Rodman, and stopped playing when he heard the whistle) and the Lakers still win. Check it and see.
