AHAHAHAHA! Wow, the Admiral showed some real patience with this dude. I can't believe he serves on the House Armed Services and Judiciary committees...oy vey.
But I am curious, why make note that this Congressmen is a "Dem" and "libtard" when his ignorance clearly speaks for itself? Stupid is stupid, unless you're trying to smack us over the head with how dumb Dems and liberals are compared to the GOP and conservatives? Hmm? o.O

"I wasn't suggesting that the island of Guam would literally tip over," Johnson says via a spokesman. "I was using a metaphor to say that with the addition of 8,000 Marines and their dependents -- an additional 80,000 people during peak construction to the port on the tiny island with a population of 180,000 -- could be a tipping point which would adversely affect the island's fragile ecosystem and overburden its already overstressed infrastructure.
"Having traveled to Guam last year, I saw firsthand how this beautiful -- but vulnerable island -- is already overburdened, and I was simply voicing my concerns that the addition of that many people could tip the delicate balance and do harm to Guam."

It should also be noted that he is extremely ill and heavily medicated. So yes, he might have meant it literally, but it's probably a drug induced thought, if that's the case.

I agree with this assessment.
What the hell is the man doing voting on legislation that affects Americans?

If you thought Johnson was bad, meet Congressman Phil Hare (D-IL).

AHAHAHAHA @ the Phil Hare video. "You're stomping all over the constitution"...where are all these "defenders of the Constitution" being manufactured? They certainly chose an interesting time to go on a crusade trying to find out what the Constitution allows government to do, let's see if they have any videos 6 years old and see how balanced they really are.

These were the same people that voted for the fiscally conservative (allegedly) Dems in 06. These were the same people who agreed with Barry that we were spending too much. The Dems used them to get reelected and screwed them. I doubt they are manufactured and astro turf. My family went to the tea parties. The ones that went are not in politics at all. Keep thinking it though, and keep marginalizing them as whackos. Make 2010 just the beginning.

Let me help you here.. the tea partiers didn't vote obama, won't ever vote for obama, don't plan to ever vote for a democrat so in the end the dems lose mostly nothing when they are pissing off the tea baggers.

How do you know any of this?
My Dad is a democrat for 65 years. He is went to a tea party rally a few weeks back. He liked what he heard. He has no problem saying now (took this health care bill to send him over the edge) he should not have voted for Obama and that Obama is not listening to the people. My Dad is a DEMOCRAT. He likes alot of parts of the tea party movement.
My dad says all the time the biggest difference between a republican and democrat politician is the demcorat atleast leaves some crumbs behind for the folks to eat. The repugs take it all. He says today the dems lost there way and get this Georgie, Obama is the biggest liar he has ever seen and he has to be stopped!

he's listening to 46% of the people jack...so now are you going to answer whether a president should govern by polls or not? yes or no.

Nice. You really should pull up what Obama has been saying for the past 3-4 years. He talks out of both sides of his mouth. He said whatever he wanted to say to get a vote. My dad believed he would listen to the people at the end of the day. The majority of the people said "NO" to this bill. Keep posting that if you disagree with Obama, you are stupid. PEACE.

don't woory jack by november the support for the bill will be over 50% and then you are going to deal with the 'will' of the people..after all you are all about polls..so when ity does creep up over 50 then you willhave to backtrack and start talking about hearing peoples voices

"NOW" lol
I answered your question a few weeks ago. You ran like a lil chicken shit and stopped the conversation. You ignore the polls, town meetings, surveys, marches, protest, elections (Virginia, Mass and NJ) that the people do not want this health care bill. You still ignore 14 months of this conversation and are trying to pass it off as just a poll. In fact the orginal question you asked was if a president should govern by daily polls. The answer is NOOOOOO. Duh!

I said nothing about disagreeing with Obama making anyone stupid. I said if your father voted for Obama and is now upset for him passing this health care legislation then he is stupid.
Do you understand that? It is incredibly simple and direct.

I know what I said. If you don't fall into that category as every being stupid that disagrees with Obama, I'll take you for your word.
My dad is not stupid. Your logic is stupid. Obama made alot of promises. Obama talked from both sides of his mouth on alot of subjects. Obama told Clinton in a debate the way to pass health care is not to force everyone to pay for it. Well, that's exactly what this bill is doing. Obama said you can't pass health care with reconcilation. You can't govern like that. That's what he did. He said will put the health care debate on c-span. He didn't. Instead he made bribes, locked out the repugs and debated this behind close door.My dad voted for him because he believed in what he said. Turns out, Obama is a liar.
