I was just looking on ESPN, and the only team in the West that hasn't locked up a playoff birth is SA. Even Portland, who is a half game behind us, has clinched...wtf is that about? Am I missing something?

Look at total number of games played for a clue.

If Memphis wins out they'll have 46 wins.
OKC and the teams above them have 47 or more wins.
If the Spurs and Portland both lose out, all three teams will have 46 wins and the Spurs would lose the tie-breaker.
If Portland beats Sacto tonight, then all that is left is a possible two team tie between the Spurs and Memphis. The Spurs win a two team tiebreaker.
Portland wins, Spurs clinch.

Its part of the NBA conspiracy by David Stern. Stern doesn't want the Spurs in the playoffs this year. He knows they will dump LA and dump the ratings. The NBA has dumped alot of money into Kobe, Artest, Odom, and the tall chick with the Adam's apple.
