LTU - Lietuvos Rytas into final
VILNIUS (LKL) - Lietuvos Rytas completed a two-game sweep of their series with Sakalai to join Zalgiris Kaunas in the final of the Lithuanian LKL play-offs.
Andrius Slezas was a red-hot four of six from behind the arc and led the winners with 18 points while Lithuania national team center Robertas Javtokas contributed 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Renaldas Seibutis had a game-high 20 in a losing cause for Sakalai, who found themselves playing catch-up after falling behind 33-20 at the end of the first quarter.
Lietuvos Rytas, beaten in last year's play-off finals by Zalgiris, were also edged out by their Kaunas rivals in this year's inaugural Baltic League.
Game One of the best-of-seven championship series is on Saturday in Kaunas.
