Thought Parker's interview w/ what's-her-black-face was unusual.

Wouldn't at all surprise me if TP's startin to get nervous.

When nkdlunch agrees with you, it's safe to assume you're not on the right side of an argument.

Hmm. So it's bad to have an all-star PG that's able to put 20 ppg and 6 assts while shooting 50% from the field?

The recent surge has more to do with Ginobili being 100% again(first time in two years) and playing some of the best ball of his career.

Good point. There are so many star young bigs on the trading block...and george hill has proven he can run the offense. I don't see any reason not to do it. Well, the Spurs would have to try to find a young star PG, but other than that i can't see any reason not to do it.

Maybe they can trade the star young big they get for a star young PG. That would be ideal.

it is if his presence makes your team worse. just ask teams that have had Allan Iverson the past few years.

Iverson never shot anywhere near 50%. Parker doesn't make the team worse, his game just doesn't mesh well with Jeff.

People act like Hill would be replacing Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, or some type of pure point guard. Parker is a better PG than Hill sure but he isnt a guy that runs the offense masterfully or anything like that...he's a scoring PG and Hill although not as explosive as Tony has proven capable of putting up points. He also brings better defense and range to the table as well as not needing the ball in his hands all the time.

Im not saying Hill > Tony or that I think we're better without Tony, but I do think the addition of a star big man (easier said than done) would outweight the drop off we'd have at PG.

Parker for Bynum.

what the hell is this this thread? George Hill can run the offense, but there's no way he's better than Parker. Ginobili is the reason why we're winning against top teams. In fact, he's been playing out of his mind lately that he'll hit a mini-slump sometime. Hill and Parker in the backcourt would be a nightmare for teams with backcourt problems.

we need him yet this year, but I'd trade him this off-season. maybe a team with cap room who doesn't land any of the big name free agents will give us a lottery pick for him

lol people claim tony Parker to be shit and want him off the team, but then they expect to get these great players in return for him. Tell me, when he scores a point for the Spurs, does it kill you a lil inside?
