that Manu was the only crisp passer on the team? Isn't Timmy one of the best big men passers of All-Time?

I think he was talking about the guy that passes the ball to TD, so ... TD cant give the ball to himself :lol You gotta take him out of the equation :toast

JVG is right btw.

He was talking about feeding the post, so unless Duncan is going to feed himself it wouldn't really apply.

Yeah, they talked about Tim's passing ability after that outlet pass to RJ cutting to the basket.

i thought at one point they said tim was the best passer on the team?!? I mean, I love tim, but better than manu? Just because manu had some turnovers? thought that was weird.

Someone did mention how effective a passer Tim is and that he was the best passer on the team, I'm not sure if it was Jackson or the Announcer. But I know what JVG was talking about, and that's why Manu didn't get very much rest after they took him out late in the 3rd he came back in as the Lakers began to cut into the lead. But it's a sad fact that with both Hill and Tony out, the spurs are hurting for ballhandlers.

WTF are you talking about? He was talking about making the entry pass into Duncan in the post. How can Tim pass to himself?

Van Gundy is not a Duncan fan (still bitter about the '99 Finals?) or a fan of big men in general as near as I can tell. Not surprising, considering he's a runt, but still, he rarely gives the man his due and often overlooks him.

If Van Gundy had had Duncan instead of Ewing he'd be a fan of big men.

I never sensed that JVG has some grudge against Duncan. Nothing to worry about.
