How many times are the Spurs going to overplay/overhelp/whatever on Nash and give Stoudemire a clear path to the rim? Someone has to start anticipating the pass and cut Nash's passing lane off.

There's a coincidence there, has been for years now (i.e., having the ball in the hands of Tony's to end the quarter instead of Manu).

We're playing important games for playoff positioning. If he's not ready yet, don't put him on a position to fail... Once he's back in shape he can finish quarters again

mason played fine. its on the big 3. tony tim and manu. all 3 need to play better. its as simple as that
So he should still be in the game then? Do you know that little about basketball?
how else is he suppose to get used to the pace of NBA basketball?

he's been running and exercising for a while now, being in shape isn't the issue.. it's keeping up with the speed and positioning of basketball, he's been out for a while
he needs this time to adjust back to basketball, we don't have much of a choice - we can't put this in the hands of temple

It was nice to see Mason make some shots, but his defense was beyond horrible and he made some silly mistakes..he isn't free of blame at all, nobody is..
He outplayed Temple in the 1st half by a decent margin though, I'll give him that, although he should always be doing that..

TP is rusty guys, c'mon stop the hate.
This is Pop's fault, this is not the game for TP, he's getting owned by Nash, an all star guy playing all star bb. I care more about his speed, he might not have been in a gym this entire time, couse man, hes the slowest guy on the court right now.

My "ALL-TIME BALL HOG TEAM"
SF Dominique Wilkins
PF Walt Bellamy
C Patrick Ewing
SG World B. Free
PG Tony Parker
Response to JR:
****** the questions probably should have been rhetorical, I give you that. What I asked are in fact the criteria I used to name my starting 5. I wanted to justify why I thought players such as Iverson, Jordan and Bryant would not make my ALL-TIME BALL HOG First Team. I used assists averages on some like Bellamy & Ewing. Ewing has the worst assist average (1.9) of any so-called All-time great center. Numbers aren't everything, but they do mean something. In the case of Tony Parker. He passes the "least with the most". I've never seen a starting point guard with such a talented team...... Duncan, Ginobili, and a host of good spot up shooters....... pass the ball so little in all of my 32 years of watching basketball. The Spurs are hard to watch, but I do notice that in close 4th quarter action, quite often Parker is on the bench. I think even Popovich recognizes that the offense flows better without Parker in the game. I could go on, but I'll stop here.******

That's exactly it, TP should just try and shake the rust off. Not trying to take over the game with mishandled drive after drive with out ever passing it. Run the court, pass and distribute and take open shots and drives when it presents itself, not forcing your way to a TO.
