It goes beyond that series. LB is a one dimensional player who has been extremely lazy since winning the 6th man award. He has done nothing to improve his defense, ball handling, passing, and decision making. I know you think being able to score at an efficient rate against the Timberwolves and Clippers is important but it doesn't matter when he can't do shit against good defenses.

I liked him early on, but as time progressed, he never got better at anything. Running the O, defense, pick and roll, you name it, he's the same as he was 4 or 5 years ago. Also the suns have enough firepower right now, no need for another streaky scorer.

No LB cost the Suns a championship by being a complete non-factor against a team when everyone needed to step up. Barbosa was the 3rd leading scorer during the regular season in 2007, and he vanished like a fart in the wind against the Spurs.

NO. Barbosa's D might be even poorer than Barea's and I'm not sick of JJB's works in offense TBH. The only reason to exile him is the terrible defense he plays, so it makes no sense to replace him with someone who's even worse in defense while your attempt is to make your defense better through this trade.
