I dont get why Kobe would rest. Lakers still wanna make sure they finish ahead of the Magic IMO.

Thanks Lakers. Thanks for helping the Nuggets keep pace for the #2 seed.

I love Kobe, but I hate the Lakers douchebag bandwagon fans. There's enough purple and gold in the stands and they're making enough noise that I bet they are about 1/3 of the crowd. And those aren't LA expats, those are native Denver dipshits who don't have the balls to root for the home team. It's like this in every city.

Findog Nuggets winning tonight wouldn't be too bad for Mavs.

Nuggets/Jazz/Mavs finishing with same better = Mavs get 3 way tiebreaker

Jazz/Mavs = Mavs losing tiebreaker.

It happens all the time ...... when the Lakers had that nice, young squad in the late 90s and when the Bulls came into town, every time the Bulls scored, it was like a home game for them. Let the Lakers lose Bean and Pau and go into mediocrity and those people will find a new wagon to hop on.

Hell, you should have seen the number of Wizard jerseys when MJ came into town against L.A. Knowing damn well they couldn't find D.C. on a map.

I'm losing count of how many ways LA keeps screwing everyone else over except if your Denver right now. Great... 3 of Pho's last games are against teams fighting for playoff position in the west...

Kobe is just old and it shows. The man is declining physically and sooner or later, he's game is going to follow

Agreed, I would rather have the nuggets win the NW and we automatically jump Utah (if we gave the same record) due to winning the SW.

Who has the tiebreaker between nuggs/jazz?

He's not old, but he does have more basketball miles than your usual 31 year old. I guess all those un-meaningful minutes Bryant has played over the years to pad his stats are starting to catch up to him.

If I'm the Lakers, I'm not worried at all. Their real season doesn't start until April 18th when Mr 5.7/3.8 comes back.

LMAO 21 Blessings!

Kobe replaced by Sasha, and the Lakers put up a very competitive in Denver. This compared to two L's and a W with Kobe.

Hmmm ....

Lakers fucking us over the 2 position. Just as long as we don't end up 5 and Utah 4.
