You know I don't disagree, but when there are options sitting on the bench that the coach isn't using, or if there are terrible shots players are taking with 17 seconds left on the shot clock, it's the coaches fault. Basically, building around this group of lazy fucks is a problem, but having a coach who is ok with them being a bunch of lazy fucks is a problem too.

Also it's not like everyone wants Gentry fired, my view that he's a terrible coach is an unpopular opinion. With D'antoni, he wasn't fired (idk how many times I have to repeat that), he left on his own whim, and the majority of the fans wanted him to stay. If there's one area we agree, it's Barbac...sa. He's too expensive for what little he contributes. Trade him for any expiring contract, let him walk, trade him to a conference rival, whatever..

Portland did an excellent job adapting their D, but the suns coaching staff should've figured out something to erase a 1 point deficit at half time. They now have to win a game in Portland which is going to be rough.

The whole "fire Gentry" thing was reactionary to a terribly coached game several months ago, but if Barbosa plays more minutes than Dragic against the Spurs (I'm still awed that Barbosa played more minutes against Portland) and Barbosa plays against the Spurs like he did in 2007 and 2008, there will be no excuses for why it happened.

My big beef with Gentry is he's simply too nice. There's not enough accountability with him.
