Guess it is better than the alternative - this Spurs team should fear no one come playoff time.

I don't fear anyone at all. I jsut would rather play the Lakers later than the first round which is why that Nets loss and the debacle last night hurt so bad. This team is DESTROYING all teh good teams right now. This Denver game is the second game of a back to back and the Spurs are just controlling this game!

I wouldn't say we kicked the sh*t out of them at all, they got shafted real bad by the refs. I agree we should fear no one but if a team like the nets are capable of beating us then there's always room for improvement.

The last game the Spurs went into LA and cleaned the Lakers clock. http://www.nba.com/games/20100404/SASLAL/gameinfo.html 100 - 81

Sure Bynum was missing but Parker was too and no one on LAL can stop a healthy Parker.

LAL is rightfully favored but has surely not been as dominant as expected -bring it on!

did you watch the game? 3 techs against denver and 7 fouls to 1 against sa with 8 min left, yeah... i'd hope we would be up by 20 then...

Nuggets got ripped by the refs did they?

I haven't been able to watch the game but it sounds like it was a little lopsided. Not 20pt worthy but still it would be nice to get an even call every game.

You know it is bad when the fans know the names of the individual refs :lol

Bad calls both ways - several times Duncan just clobbered and no calls but did not lose his cool like the inane and thuggish Nuggets.

Spurs would clobber the Nuggets in the playoffs.

You could have a point except this is the Nuggets. They have a history of easily losing their minds.

Nuggets got a couple of bad calls, and then they did their usual and pissed off the refs.

The Nuggets don't have to get bad calls to get that way. They just need to be losing the game and get any whistle against them. Carmelo's foul where he got tossed was rather obviously a foul, was it not?

Nuggets seem like they didn't care about this one as much as the Spurs did.

good thing there are no back to backs or bad teams in the playoffs... I think the spurs can take anyone... we have beaten so many good teams convincingly... its not a fluke.

This is why I so badly want to face the Nugs in the first round. Not only would it be a good omen (2005 and 2007 opponents in 1st) but they're just the dumbest, most emotionally immature team.

One of their columnist said it best, we don't just beat them, we ground them into shards of psychological wreckage.

All the yelling and complaining by the players and all the booing and chanting by the crowd makes me doubt that.

The spurs style of play implodes teams far more often now then teams implode by themselves.

The refs did their job just fine tonight. Nuggets thought they could use thug tactics and got caught by the refs every single time. Obviously they are used to getting away with thug tactics but thank god we had some good refs tonight that weren't letting it go.

Now hopefully we will see more reffing like tonight in the playoffs. I want to see Lamar Odom get called for every push in the back like Nene did tonight.

The spurs played their game... they care to get ready for the playoffs... guess the Nuggets don't care for that.

They are a good team. But they are not as good as Lakers, Mavs, Magic, Cavs and Celtics.

Nuggs weren't a good team tonight,

like the Spurs weren't a good team vs Grizz.

The quality of competition really sucks this year.

Spurs are starting to gel at the best time possible, as soon as the tough schedule comes along they start playing like champions. Think about it we beat every good team this season...Boston,Cleveland,Lakers,Denver,Dallas,Orl ando...list goes on and on, Spurs should fear nowone except themselves. GO SPURS GO!
