I had a meeting earlier this week and while I was waiting, I was going through magazines and came upon an article asking this question. I began to think and I would have to go with Dobie Gray's "Drift Away".

I have a 5-year-old niece who I am infatuated with. :) I love that little girl. Anyhoo, about a year and a half ago- I was listening to that song and she heard it. She liked it and would always request it when she was in my truck. Of course, I complied. She eventually got the words to it (most of it anyway) and would sing along with me. Even today, she requests for it and we sing it together.

I already liked that song before my niece heard it but now I just love it! :spin

You know this was tough for me. lol I sat there thinking what song has special meaning to me, because there really are so many. You know how I feel about music, but in the end I have to go with:

Rascal Flatts "Bless the Broken Road"

I guess cause I'm still on that road and I can't wait for the day when I can play that for that special someone. I simply adore the lyrics to that song. They are perfect. The first time I heard it it had me in tears. It kinda helped snap me out of the funk I was in after being hurt. Aside from Z's slaps here and there :lol Its a great song.
