The Nuggets are not ending this season as the 3-seed. They face Memphis tonight and Phoenix tomorrow night (in Phoenix). They'll lose at least one of those games... 1-1, most likely.

Phoenix faces Denver tomorrow night, and then Utah (in Utah) the very next night. The Suns will go 1-1.

Utah faces Golden State and then Phoenix on a back-to-back. Utah will win both, I think. 2-0.

If OKC beats POR, which is likely, Spurs have to win out to get the 6th seed. They should beat MIN, and then depending on how Dallas' playoff picture looks going into the game, it could go either way.

If the Spurs can get the 6 seed and face Denver that is best case scenario. They avoid the Lakers until the WCF and get the most favorable match up of those available in round 1.

Still won't be easy, but that is the best bet.

As hot as a team can be, now the Spurs just aren't likely to act again as Mavs fodder, probably they will also curbstomp the mavs the same easy way Thunder and Blazers do. Maybe suns may give the Mavs a chance due to their horrific defense, but still I see it 30-70 for mavs to win. Mavs = first round exit.
