he actually IS what we were hoping RMJ could be.
restricted and Warriors will very likely re sign him. (will be interesting if a team trows the whole MLE at him. unlikely, even if they could buy the best jump shot in the league)

If this guy gets the MLE then this will truly be a summer to remember (or forget for some)..

as I said, it's unlikely. but Kapono got the MLE for 4 years. even more absurd: Matt Carroll got it. Morrow can easily deliver like this two.

Hoopshype's salary page lists him under contract for next year, no team or player option.

Hoopshype salary pages aren't a reliable source and they are wrong on this one.

The best source to know who will be a FA is ESPN

Did some poking around, and fanhouse showed that while hoopshype had the amount correct, their color coding was wrong. It is in fact a QO like you stated. We probably won't be able to pry him away from GS.

Azubuike, however, has an option, and if he declines it, will be unrestricted.:hat

Has Azubuike played at all in the last 2 years?

Azubuike played the majority of last year and played a few games this season before he got the injury.

Morrow would be a great addition. He is an elite 3 point shooter and has other decent qualities.

Warriors Extend Qualifying Offers To Morrow, Watson
Jun 29, 2010 9:40 AM EST

The Warriors have extended qualifying offers to Anthony Morrow and C.J. Watson, team sources have confirmed.

The decision makes both Morrow and Watson restricted free agents, which gives Golden State the right to match any offer either player receives on the free agent market.

Morrow's qualifying offer was for $1.03 million, while Watson's was worth $1.25 million.

I definitely would like to get Morrow... however we already have "Mr. Anderson" and several other 6'5" players who play the same spot.

However, for $1m/year definitely worth making a counter offer.

Morow agrees to offer sheet with Nets

3-year, $12 million... let's see if the Warriors match that (which they should).
