Does anyone have a link for a good active Sonics board? I don't like to go and troll or anything, I just lurk and read what the other team's fans are saying.

Thanks.

The Spurs have the 2 best message boards I have seen for 1 team. They are really well organized and have a lot of traffic.

scout.com's mod seems pretty smart: :)

"I predicted the Spurs to win the title before the season, and I predicted the same result just before the playoffs, and I still believ the Spurs will win it all. I sure hope I'm wrong though!

IMO a healthy Spurs team will win against any team in the league. They have the best player in the game, and a bunch of quality players that know their roles. For the Sonics to win, a lot of guys have to play at their very best.

I predict the Spurs in 6."

I read a few Sonic's boards. And your right, they are not very well organized.

The boards I did read seemed to have 2 main concerns. The Spurs backcourt of Manu and Tony, espeicially in penetrating... and concern about Bruce Bowen and his defense. They seem confident in their big's...we'll see I guess.

Bruce Bowens defense seemed to be the largest worry for them. And it was usually precipitated by some remark about how Bruce "get's away" with so much fouling. I thought this high praise indeed.

They also think, that if it's close... SA could lose it on the free throw line. Which, may be a valid point.

Actually, our free throws have been pretty good as of late, esp. Game 4.

Game 5, not so good, but i think our boys were tired (esp. Tony) after that hard OT win.

The only two NBA forums I've found that even approach this one's level of activity is mavtalk.com and lakersground.net.

Though I haven't really looked that hard.

If Jerome James get started who is going to stop him? Duncan can't be the whole team, you know?

this insightful post from a sonics board
San Antonio is a very ordinary team, except that they have Mr. Duncan. I would be inclined to play straight up defense and force Timmy to play selfish, against his nature. Throw the kitchen sink at Duncan defensively with James, Collison, Fortson, and Evans alternatively taking him on. After three quarters of pounding, let Radmanovich guard him in the fourth quarter.

and whos scared of jerome james
he played the best he's ever played and torched the KINGS bigman, for what 19 ppg?

Good people there, and it's been going for a long time. It's not really busy though.

As someone whohas postedon the scout/fanhome forums for 2+ years it's a bit weak when it comes to traffic, ex. I have more posts here in less than half the time. But there are people who post there that know what they are talking about. Check out the playoff special for more to talk about.
