it is a cool story and it's true just as much reason to lmao at Dirk as it is to laugh at the Nets. Nets tried to make a team good with great players like Vince, Kidd, and Jefferson and failed. Mavs are still trying, but one day that will come to an end with either Mavs winning or rebuilding just like the Nets:toast

Of all the additions Dallas has made, the player they already had makes them the most dangerous team in the playoffs. Kidd playing at a high level does for the Mavs what Manu does for the Spurs...he gives them that extra level that creates plays that make or break a series.
