Ok. We already know Bron is # 1 and Durant is 2nd. Who is the third best? Wade or Kobe? Dirk maybe? Dwight?

You my friend (OP) are an idiot ...

Wade is STILL better than Durant ...I can see (though disagree) with Durant>Kobe but with the way Kobe has closed the season I can accept that ...

But if we are going by great close to the seasons plus what that has ACTUALLY meant to W/L records ...

1.Lebron
2.a. Dwight
b. Dirk
c. Amare
d. Wade
6. Durant
7. Manu

If the whole season is factored in ...
1. LBJ
2. Wade/Kobe
3. Dirk/Durant
4. Howard
5. Melo

Scoring is still incredibly over rated, and defense under rated. If i were to pick one player in a draft for the playoffs starting next week, i would have it as...

1. LeBron
2. Kobe
3. Wade
4. Howard
5. Dirk
6. Durant

What's this 1st half of the season/2nd half the season shit Lakers fans are writing about? Can't they give their rank for the season, like everybody usually does?

As overall players, I would go..

1. Lebron..

2. Wade..
3. Howard..
4. Durant..
5. Kobe..

Other than #1, this could all change after the playoffs..we'll see how Durant looks in his first playoff series, how Howard looks, and if Kobe has much left in the tank..

It's stupid to compare wings to bigs, or bigs to point guards, or point guards to wings. (It's even questionable to compare SGs to SFs or PFs to Cs.)

Are you asking who the third best wing is? I would say it goes LeBron, Kobe, and then Durant. Wade seems to be going through the motions, waiting for the season to end. Manu's up there, too.

Im glad Wade is still getting a lot of love from this board, quite different from most forums/articles dubbing Durant as the second best player right now. I dont really have a problem with that anyway, KD is the real deal this regular season, of course that may change as soon as the Thunders faces the Laqueers.

I have a feeling though, Wade will be as good as Lebron in the playoffs. Only problem is the Heat does not have ample talent to advance deep in the postseason.
