Ron Paul only 1% away from being elected president in 2012!

Poll: Obama 42%, Ron Paul 41%

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections2/election_2012/election_2012_barack_obama_42_ron_paul_41

Other Poll Findings:

* Ron Paul has a +9% favorable rating, 39% like him, 30% don't like him

* Independent voters favor Paul by 47% to 28% over Obama

* Only 15% of Independent voters don't like Ron Paul, 42% like him (+27%)

* 58% of mainstream voters prefer Ron Paul

* 95% of political class voters prefer Obama

This poll disproves one of the primary NWO arguments against Ron Paul, that he is not electable. Save this poll link for the future.

Wasn't it rasmussen that guaranteed a McLiar presidential victory?

RP would first have to declare, then beat the GOP field in the primaries, then receive his party's nomination and then convince the country that he isn't too old and too weird to lead it. A very tall order.

Paul's biggest problem is with republicans, not democrats.

agreed, but the polls do show that, for all the shit the Repug and tea bag monkeys have been throwing, Magic Negro is more loved than any of the right-wingers.

I will. I will file it right next to whottt's predictions of a McCain landslide that I use in my siggy.

I admire your professed enthusiasm for the guy, though.

you're just upset that Obama is going to lose. I'm sorry, but the people are rejecting the nanny state and are going to vote pro-liberty.

Sore Loserman!

I have some fair degree of uncertainty as to whether Obama can be re-elected.

Since you have so solidly predicted he will lose however, that uncertainty actually was somewhat assuaged.

I will add this to my subscribed thread list tho'.

Don't be surprised if your prediction comes back to haunt you. :lol

You are probably a socialist who supports Obamacare and the nanny state.

If you want to see the rep party completely implode, support Ron Paul.

It'd be fun to watch.

Never happen. What is going to happen is this.

That gutter pig, Sarah Palin is going to sink the republicans in 2012.

Why the republican party doesn't tell her to hit the road is beyond me. She's poison.

No doubt....I think the GOP is perfectly content letting Palin campaign for them in 2010, hopefully win some congressional seats, but I fully expect that Palin will be torpedoed by the GOP between the 2010 and the 2011 cycle...

Maybe. If they're smart they would, but when it comes to elections, of late, they've proven themselves inept. I wouldn't be surprised either way. There are elements/fools in the republican party that want her at the top of the ticket. The only thing I want her on top of is my cock.

Palin and Romney are two entirely different critters.

For me she was already toast when she resigned as Governor of Alaska. By 2012, we should have a pretty good idea if half-termer Sarah Palin will really stick in the political arena.

Winehole23

My own prediction is that after the 2012 elections Sarah Palin will be neither in political office nor on TV.

According to the poll, Ron Paul is only 1% behind. And Ron is on the way up, while Obama is on the way down.

I suspect Palin won't even run. Mind you, she'll continue to threaten to in order to keep herself relevant and, thus, profitable. But I'm pretty sure she knows she'd get eaten alive by Obama in a debate, and her history is certainly far more checkered than his.
