I am bumping this thing. I would be okay with picking this guy in the 2nd round. He is not good at scoring but he blocks shots (4.5 bpg in 28.3 minutes) and is a legit 7 footer. He looks to be in shape and the Spurs could put him in the D-League for 2 years. He also has a wingspan of 7"6, which ties Dexter Pittman and right behind Hassan Whiteside who has a wingspan of 7"7. His standing reach is quite good at 9"3.

You just want him for the Toros. :)

He'd be a fine choice(from the pool of project bigs) for the second round to send to Austin to see how he turns out.

The Spurs need a shot blocker somewhere on the roster. He probably would spend time in Austin, but hopefully he would, you know, develop. I think Kurt Looby is in the Bobcats' FA camp. I would have liked him to be on the Spurs' SL team. Just get someone who can block shots for next season, please.

Bad hands was mentioned twice in his Portsmouth tournament writeup, and given as the probable cause of his luke warm rebounding numbers. There are a number of other bigs who don't suffer from butterfingers on the board.

Defensive player of the year in the Big East. If his ability on the defensive end eventually puts him on a scale about one third of the way between Mouhamed Sene and Mutombo, he'd be a great 2nd round pick.
