The three stats the Mavs are dominating are arguably the three most important stats in basketball: FT's, Rebounding & Turn Overs. If that does not change, Spurs will lose.

TNT-all said Spurs can't win the series. That we are no longer the big three, and Dallas is too much for the Spurs. Fuck them. And fuck the pink ponies.

Yeah, I said it earlier...yeah FT's are lopsided but it's really not the problem...

TO's are killing us...and when we come close to turning it over like we have a few times...it kills our offensive sets as we have to take a rushed shot

The problem with RJ is, when he isn't scoring he seems to give up on the game....when he gets some easy baskets then he starts rebounding and playing defense at the rim. He's got to do the latter REGARDLESS of where/when his offense kicks it into gear.

Do I really need to find the mothafucking post. I never called J-blow a spur killer, its just the fact that the Spurs don't have a guy to defend a player in the Josh/Butler mold. So, anytime a spurfan said "YEAH! THE MAVS DON'T HAVE SPURKILLER JOSH!" I said that Caron will be just as good against them, if not better.

The game has been ugly so far, but the Spurs are hanging tough. In games like this, they may just have to try to hang around and steal it at the end.

Need to cut down on the turnovers, get a body on people on the glass, and do something about both Butler and Haywood. They cannot continue to play at this pace.

I always expect for Dirk to stop hitting bullshit shots, but it never happens.

TOs are the key to the current deficit, unforced ones at that. The Parker attempt to RJ for the breakaway dunk was a PRIME example.

If both TP and Manu can stop trying to force the issue, the Spurs should be in decent shape. Not predicting a W, but they'd atleast have a chance to keep it close.

Chris Webber:

"What's the rivalry when one team has 4 titles and the other team has none?"

If not for the Mavs, the Spurs probably could have one three titles in a row - that's a rivalry.

Since our Manu-inflicted head wound in '06, the Mavs own us, and have caused the Spurs to cling to the failed strategy of small ball - that's a rivalry.

Lame fans clinging to the past while their team gets owned again - that's a rivalry.

I love Dice's offense right now and the way he's competing, but his defense scares me..he's still getting lost..

I'd think about sitting out Hill for the rest of the game..sounds strange, but I'd rather have him at full strength for next game..he's a liability out there right now, he isn't doing anything on either end of the floor..I realize there isn't a proper replacement, but I'd just take the risk with Bogans at this point(or even Temple)..

The refs need to calm the heck down and let them play. Somebody tell them it's the playoffs.
And, Don't they watch film? Dirk splaying himself on the court every chance he gets is so predictable.

That's what's so maddening about it. Dirk is a great player and is hard enough to play against as it is, but when you call a foul whenever he flails his arms (which he always does), it's ridiculous. The fact that he's done the flailing-arm bit for years and still gets just as many ridiculous calls is infuriating.
