Isn't it the hotel that's being built on Cmmerce/Market right near St. Marys?

I think it's the one off either market or commerce, I can't remember which street. It's near the river.

What's that thing that looks like the Space Needle in Seattle? I don't think it was there when I was in San Antonio 12 years ago.

:lmao

The Hemisfair tower...it was finished in '68...Seattles was modeled after ours but with a taller radio tower so it could be "taller"...

Obviously I missed that thing... That's odd... I was probably drunk on the riverwalk.

How is the restaurant there?
Way too expensive and not very good food.
save your money and get drunk and eat on the riverwalk.

I drive on that street everyday....and it kills me how much it's changed. I think the skyscraper would fit in perfectly.

Why aren't we getting a Neiman Marcus over here, dammit?!? :cuss :lol

So does San Antonio still have the ordinance that states that no building can be taller than the tower? Stupidest rule ever.

I actually thought it was the one they're building next to the Denny's. I don't think the placement of it in the image is right anyways.

That's kind of big for a La Quinta, don't you think? :lol

This is the new convention center hotel.

To be built on the parking structure that used to house a Spurs shop at the ground.
