I think we all agree that in order for the Spurs to win game 2 and to win this series, someone has to step up and be that fourth scorer.

Who do you think it will be in Game 2?

After seeing George hobbling around the court it HAS to be RJ.

Hill and RJ both have to be able to contribute on offense in this series. Anything less will equal an early vacation.

If Hill weren't gimpy he would be the obvious choice for me.

Now Pop must unleash the Blair!

Hill should sit a while longer. RJ needs to man up.

If Hill plays and he's healthy enough he needs to be the fourth option. If Blair gets minutes it wouldn't surprise me if he's the fourth leading scorer.

He looks like Bruce Bowen.

RJ will come out more aggressive... I just hope he stays that way all game.

Didn't they put up 100 points? That side of the ball isn't the issue imo.

Hill was running up and down the floor with regularity, but had no lift on his jumper which was the main indicator I saw that he still may be favoring the ankle (I say favoring because I don't know if he's still ailing or playing cautious so as not to reaggrivate it.

RJ can't start fading now, and I'm assuming he was the main guy Pop was calling out in his presser; he even looked hesistant on the wide open 3 he had at the end of the game. He's got to to take the ball to the bakset....even if he doesn't score or draw fouls, it will draw the Dallas bigs away from the basket to help out with the weakside rebounding and overall battle of the boards.

Blair is going to get his point the same way he's been getting them all season and should be a factor with decent minutes. If Pop really does like Temple he needs to give him a nod, especially if Hill is still limited. His scoring is sporadic but he seems to be a good defender and isn't scared to drive to the basket or get out on a fast break.

i have no faith in Jefferson. you can say that he's a bad fit but that not an excuse for lack of trying.

i don't think Hill will be fielded in Game 2.

i don't think Blair will be getting a lot minutes simply because he clogs the lane for Tim.

Mason, no need to add insult to injury.

which leave Bonner. sad but true. he, at least, tried to make something happen in Game 1. he sure showed more guts than RJ, at the very least.

he also knows how to blow a wide open layup like Bowen.

It HAS to be Richard Jefferson, unless Bonner hits a million shots or Hill heals magically.

:lol at Roger Mason getting 0 votes. I would say Rj or maybe Matt will hit his 3s and lead us to victory!:flag:

In order for us to win this game we have to play better defense. I'd say double Dirk when he puts the ball on the floor or once he picks up the ball.

I think the Mavs will look to get RJ in foul trouble again to try stop his usual fast starts, that will like always throw his game out.

I hope for RJ he can stay aggrassive without dumping fouls early - That is the key to his game becoming what we need eg 17 points 9 rebounds.

It'll be Blair... his time in now!

Blair needs to get mins. His body and work down low has been giving Mav's bigs all sorts of trouble.

As others have stated , RJ should be the 4th scorer depending on how well he handles any setbacks. One thing for sure, manu will be on the look-out for him.

I'm hoping Mcdyess has a stellar playoff performance. Something like 12 and 14 would be awesome!

Can't play less than half the game if that is going to happen..

23 minutes is not enough for Dyess.

#2!

This of course relies on Pop's minute distribution, but I voted other b/c I think McDyess is going to have a good game tonight. I know the title indicates a 4th scoring option, but he will probably only have about 13-14 points.

His contribution will come through not only grabbing boards, but important ones on the offensive end. Antonio has shown the ability to pull down vital rebounds (on both ends) during the fourth quarter. Blair has as well, but Dice's defense on Dirk is more trustworthy. Mostly I'm just saying that no matter what his performance has been throughout the first 3 1/2 quarters do not allow Bonner to be the second big beside Tim to finish the game.

Dice needs more minutes especially if he plays like game 1, he started fantastic but never got another long run just a few minutes here and there
