"It has become apparent to all that Overeem will never be given the chance to face Fedor Emelianenko. The juiced-up steroid junkie will instead face Brett "Grimm" Rogers sometime in May 2010.
It is not simply Overeem's extreme usage of growth hormones and steroids that is preventing a battle with Fedor. Simply stated, Fedor's management does not consider him a "worthy" opponent.
In fact, Fedor's manager had this to say: "I personally think that Alistair Overeem did not reach the desired level to challenge Fedor. He beat a lot of no-name opponents in mixed martial arts. Overeem defeated Paul Buentello and then disappeared from the United States for more than two years, which is simply ridiculous."
"He has nothing to offer for Fedor Emelianenko, except being a steroid bully."

Fedor's career has become such a joke anymore. Great fighter for sure but being out of the UFC is ruining this man's career. In July the premiere Heavyweight fight in MMA will be Brock and Carwin, with all the UFC pub behind it, the bout might draw over 1 million buys. Where is Fedor? Who is he fighting? Not many know anymore and even less seem to care..
