i think there's a good chance of that happening, but lets not get ahead of ourselves. lets worry about the sonics first.

Thats been my belief since before the season started.
DET scared me a lil in the beggining, but now they are looking good.
SA v DET in the Finals

Stern would hate that.

It would be as bad as Spurs Nets.
Id rather focus on Seattle right now though.......

Realistic View: Spurs vs. Pistons
Hopeful view: Spurs vs. Wizards
Stern's desire: Suns vs. Heat

As far as the Spurs are concerned, I'm not worried about anything beyond game 1 tonight. Then, it will be game 2.

Funny, if you follow the link below, the only team that has more than 3 games with a time and a network scheduled in the second round is Miami. They have set times for games 1-5, and game 7. No one else has times scheduled for more than games 1-3. If you go to nba.com, the same thing applies. It's just kind of weird to me that the NBA has almost completely mapped out the television coverage for Miami, including games that may not be neccessary.

I really don't think Miami is ready to move on yet.
I agree, it's Pistons-Spurs in the Finals.
Detroit might actually do the same thing to Miami as they did to the Lakers last year.

I hope it's Heat-Spurs. If it's Pistons-Spurs, then Pop won't like beating Larry Brown.

I am not so sure right now about Detroit. I think Miaimi will be playing either San Antonio or Phoenix in the finals. I just hope that Miami makes it.

It's most likely gonna be the pistons and spurs #1 defense and #2 defense going at it

Kori, what do you think, Pop's going to throw games because he doesn't want to beat Brown??!!
I hope you're joking.
I'm giving you a -1 for that!!!
Pop's a killer, but he'll buy you dinner afterwards.

I think Detroit is a much better team than Miami. But Miami would have homecourt and Alonzo Mourning has been stepping up so it would be a tough series to call.
Detroit should beat Indiana handily but I think it's going to be a very rugged series.

No, I wasn't saying he'd throw games. Just that he wouldn't enjoy the victory as much.

IF the Spurs make it to the Finals, I'd rather have them face the Heat than Detroit. I think Miami may be an lesser of two evils. I think between Rasho and Nazr, we'd be able to somewhat neutralize Shaq. Also, I think Bowen/Manu will be able to play some tough defense on Wade and Eddie Jones. Also, I would like to think that Tony's improved Defense will come in handy in guarding Damon from 3 point land. All that and with a healthy Timmy, I like our chances.
Detroit is too much like the Spurs. For every player that we have they have an counter-answer for. Also, they have a coach who thinks like Pop and when they are on their game, their Defense (sorry to say!) can be even better than Spurs (at times!).
My optimistic wish is a Heat vs. Spurs finals :)
On a side note: Is there anyone else who can't wait to watch the Heat get blown out in at least one freaking game in the post-season?? Seriously, they've had a cake-walk in these playoff's so far.
