Must be nice to have a low post presence that can get you buckets in crunch time as opposed to the jacking of jumpshots

Took you motherfucking Game 2 of the 2010 playoffs to realize haywood/dampier are limited offensively and Duncan is one of the best centers of all time?

Yeah, it's pretty cool, tbh.

Great post play is crucial to playoff success. But you guys have Dirk, who is the best overall perimeter player in the West (Durant's a close second), and a matchup nightmare.

Have no idea who's gonna win this series. It's a pick 'em.

He didn't mean Dampier/Haywood. He meant Dirk. Every shot for Dirk is very difficult to take. He doesn't choke. He just takes a number of highly difficult shots which most games he will make, but will also have nights like tonight. If Dirk would have developed a better post game, things would be easier. Dirk is great, but his lack of post play tends to make it difficult for him in the playoffs.

It's been that way for 29 years of Mavs basketball and that's why there will continue to be 0 championship banners @ AAC until changed

Even in the 80s, your PF was Sam Perkins who relied on perimeter shooting.

IMHO it's not a game that could have gone either way, like the Game 1 that Mavs won with some luck. The Mavs were totally overshadowed through the whole match tonight, and they were literally given no FUCKING chance to turn the game a different way round.

imo spurs mavs shaping up to be one of the most exciting first round matchups this post season mostly because the two teams are the most evenly matched, given that spurs aren't actually 7th best in the west going into the post season.

But look what happens when Duncan sits down. We have a 6'6" center coming in to replace him... and Matt fucking Bonner jacking up threes.

Neither of these teams are winning a title this year, but it's a fun series regardless.

Speaking of Bonner, he was the Mavs MVP tonight. He enters the game with a little over 2 minutes to go in the 3rd with the Spurs up 20. The Mavs immediately score 7 straight and cut the lead in half before the end of the 3rd....

I always kinda forget about Timmy being there. I'm such an ungrateful cunt of a Spurs fan.

I honestly thought this was gonna be a blowout, in the Mavs' favor. Still fucking shocked.

The Mavs came out so flat. What was W/ that? Figured they'd be amped up.

Now if Duncan and Dirk could play on the same team...

It's also pretty awesome to have guards that actually attack the basket.

i don't know if tim can make on a consistent basis the shots he was taking today . Many of them were quite difficult. No swim moves and few easy baskets. Just saying

^People have been saying that for 3 years, based on his regular season. In the playoffs, hes still the same go-to guy.
