Why is he at the game cheerleading for the Spurs?
I'm confused.

If the Mavs hire the Iron Shiek to warm up the crowd when they go back to Dallas, I will officially make them my 2nd favorite team.

I saw him on TMZ like 3 months ago. They caught him at the airport... He was STILL in character and he busted his suit case open and had his whole outfit. It was really scary.
BTW, I was also wondering why SGT slaughter was at the spurs game. LOL

I refuse to believe that we are the only two people who are curious about this.
San Antonians, explain yourselves!

I expected him to turn heel and side with the Mavs at any moment, like when he was an Iraqi sympathizer during the Gulf War.

He might have been Shawn Michaels' guest, if he was also at the game.

when did this happen?
A tv timeout in the first... He had the mic on the court and was chanting Go Spurs! In full Sgt Slaughter garb. It was kinda surreal.

:lol
So he just shows up to the game in costume, and some Spurs management guy is like, "holy crap it's sgt slaughter! Will you go out on our court during a timeout and cheer for our team?"

Sounds reasonable. Slaughter is Vince's lapdog and HBK is pretty close with Vince so it makes sense that these two would hang in the same circles.

I was at the game. They showed a video where Sgt Slaughter was trying to whip the spirit crew into shape, including the coyote. Then the coyote runs runs out to try to get the crowd to cheer and not doing a good enough job. Sgt. Slaughter then comes out with a mic yelling at the crowd that we are the 6th man and the Spurs need us and stuff.

I caught a glimpse of him during the TV broadcast. If Sgt. Slaughter wants to root for a winner, I support him!

I guess the Spurs hired him for an appearance, looks like he's taking bookings - http://www.athletepromotions.com/athletes/Sgt-Slaughter-appearance-booking-agent.php

There's no way the Mavs could hire anyone whose finisher involves the word "clutch."

Incredible.
One of those instances, had I been at the game, I would have later chalked up to me being too drunk.
Sgt. Slaughter and the Coyote doing a bit? Incredible.

I think his gut is doing a pretty good job of that. He is just accessorising with the belt. I could hear someone yelling really loud when Dick and Hubie were talking and then they switched to a wide shot and I saw The Sarge and The Coyote walking off court. I don't get it either. I have seen Shawn Michaels at Spurs games several times though.
