Hill MADE over 8K 3pt shots this summer!? That is a hard working MOFO.

He deserves the success he has had this year, offensively and defensively.

Hill evidently worked hard to improve and it worked. It also shows how much re-forming your shot can do.

However, I wonder if he would have really reached his peak in performance if Parker had not gone out. He seems to really try to defer too much when Manu and Parker are out on the floor. Instead, he needs to take turns with them going to the rim. He is almost as good as they are at it, and it will reduce wear and tear on them.

It looks that way to me, too. I thought he turned his game up a notch instantly when Manu left for the locker room in the last game. Maybe he does defer too much. On the other hand - maybe he's being smar. Pop has told players for a lot of years that we already have a Big 3. And any player who has failed to get that message has had a short, unhappy stay in San Antonio.
