Looks like game 5 is on NBA TV. That sucks! Who wants to watch Cavs Vs Bulls? I'd Rather watch Mavs vs Spurs on national TV. this is bogus

NBA tv - you've got to be kidding me. I can't get it here in Fort Worth. Will they have the local Mavs broadcast on TV? It will suck if I can't watch the game - especially if the Spurs win.

I've never supported the decision to use NBATV for playoff games, as it's a specialty channel and is not included in MOST basic cable packages.

That being said, the decisions been made and the games go around. I think POR/PHX have already had two of their games on NBATV, which has to be a pain in the ass for those fans.

I don't like it either, but this is just a bad decision by the NBA in general.

spurs website said it would be on fox sports southwest if you get that. I live in CT so I will have to watch online somewhere.

You know I haven't been that amazed with NBA TV but since the post season I have the channel playing two thirds of the day. Much rather have Sean and Bill commentating though

Are you freaking kidding me?! My cable provider doesn't even offer NBAtv. #@$*! I guess I'm going to Buffalo Wilds Tuesday, if I can find a freaking seat.

Even Sir Charles was shocked that Game 5 is on NBA TV. He said they were supposed to show the Good games on TNT and that NBA TV is for the games no one wants to watch! :lol :lol :lol

Sucks for you guys that don't have NBA TV. I have no idea how much impact it will have but you should take the time to send a F-you email to whatever tv service you use to let them know that you pay enough that you should get NBA TV with the regular lineup.

So everyone calls this the most entertaining series in the playoffs then it gets tucked away from national exposure? Interesting.

I have the expanded programming - but AT&T U-verse doesn't carry NBA League Pass or NBA tv. They said they don't have a contract to carry it. The only other carrier in Fort Worth - Charter - doesn't carry it either. So you have to have a dish to get it - and I don't have the right exposure on my apartment to get one. So I'm SOL - and it sucks big time! :depressed

I guess I'll have to watch the local Mavs channel - but that will suck also having to listen to the Mavs announcers. Unless, of course, the Spurs kick their butts again! :lol

I was thinking the same thing. As a BB fan this is the most exciting series by far. Thunder/Lakers I would rank 2nd with the Suns/Trailblazers in 3rd. The EC playoffs aren't anything compared to what we've seen so far in the West. I hope the WC doesn't knock the crap out of each other so as to nake the Finals less entertaining.

Sir Charles agrees with us, too. For whatever that is worth.

Conspiracy Theory interjection:

I wouldn't be surprised if the NRA (that's National Restaurant Association, not the other NRA) lobbies heavily for these special network games. Bars do killer business when you are forced to visit them to watch a game.

Yeah shoot me in the face...I'm not gonna get suddenlink digital cable (if they even offer NBAtv) just to watch the few games a year. Looks like I'll be huddling around the computer and watching my slingbox.

I have league pass broadband; problem is they black out NBAtv games for some stupid reason. And going to Buffalo Wilds usually sucks because you have to get there an hour and a half before the game just to secure a seat. I'm afraid to rely on internet feeds; they sometimes don't play very well on my computer. Even League Pass Broadband had a tendency to lock up in the final minutes of just about every close game this year for some reason.

Oh well, I'll just have to go early. I hate it when they pull this garbage.

My Fox Sports Southwest hasn't been covering it (they cover Rockets games during the season). I know for game 1 they covered some sort of MMA fight instead.

So the only series that's had close games goes to NBATV, but they have the first round spread out over a freaking month because they care so much about the networks and the viewers? GMAFB.

I wish this series would be more spread out.

GIve a bit of rest to the big 3.

It'll be on Channel 21 in DFW. You'll have to put up with Ortegal, or you could always watch it on mute...

Wish I could. FSN Southwest (or Houston sometimes) in college station shows either mostly Houston stuff and sometimes Rangers games.

Go to the bar at Buffalo Wild Wings if you're not from San Antonio.
For those who live in S.A, enjoy the homerism on FSSW with Bill Land and Sean Elliott.
