"I think those of you that are picking Indy to beat Boston are in for a shock.
Boston will win that series, no doubt about it."

What happened jimmy?

How about you take a seat and leave the predictions to someone who knows basketball?

But he picked Boston to beat Indy after only 13 games into the season...

Horry For 3!

I picked Pacers to win in 6 but they didn't get it done. Yet they owned the Celtics in game 7 so oh well.

Yeah, I brought up Jimmy's comments in another thread but never got an answer. The great Nostrodamus Jr. didn't even finish top 5 in the prediction contest. Maybe this will put an end to the "Hey, I deserve a Spur and some props" threads.

I seriously doubt it.

I admit my mistake. I do not pay attention to the East, for good reason. It was dumb of me to think that an Eastern team that plays no defense can win a series.

I knew this was coming, as it is always big news when the top dog loses and I am the top dog, so it follows, that all the little people like yourself have their fun and revel in people like me not being right.

Congrats on your little victory there Red, hope it made your day, as it so obviously did.

Top Dog? :rolleyes

Actually no. Nobody paid any attention to your predictions until you started begging for props and shit. All you did was put your "great predictions" under the microscope. If you want to demand "props" every time you're right, you'd better be prepared to take the heat whenever you're wrong. That's the way it is. I finished 3rd in the ESPN March Madness bracket pool and 5th(?) in this prediction contest and I don't remember seeing your name anywhere near mine. So until I start seeing your name ahead of mine on a regular basis in these little contests, you can go sell that "top dog" stuff somewhere else. But go ahead and keep calling yourself that if it makes you feel any better.

It does make me feel better because I am a loser and I have low self esteem and I do not feel any love from you at all Ice.

I don't think you're a top dog, but it is nice to see you own up to being wrong. I wouldn't even have said anything if you just predicted it but you acted like the Celtics winning was so obvious. If by little people you mean those that can't make good predictions, I was 8 out of 8 in picking the winners of the first round.

Here is a public service message to people who do not know me in here.

Take what I say in here with a huge grain of salt.

The only time I am serious is when the Spurs are playing, otherwise I am in here for entertainment and fun only.

Sure I get some predictions right, who doesn't? I get more wrong than right, just like everyone else in here. If I could really predict stuff, I would not have busted my ass in school to become what I am today and I would not be busting my hump in my profession day in day out....I would be in Vegas taking casinos money.

We are all just guessers in here, each trying to predict what bunch of millionaires in shorts will out perform another bunch of millionaires...it is not rocket science...it is all in fun.

Take this for what it is worth...but I am not really as full of myself as I let on...I just like to talk trash for the fun of it...ask Kori...she knows me better than anyone in here.

So congrats to all you who kicked my arse in the contest....

I give props when props are due.

It wasn't exactly a crazy notion to think Boston might win-out over Indy. After all, Boston was 1 game better during the season and the Celts were the 3rd seed and Indy was the 6th seed...and it did go 7 games.

BTW, props to Jack for blowing up with 24 points in yesterday's win in Boston.

Well put. That's why I put my one correct prediction in my sig. I was so proud to be right for once. I was right about TMac, but that one was too easy.

I haven't seen anyone here who has a very good prediction record or has the ability to make money betting consistently. Those guys aren't wasting time predicting in places like this.

Just about everyone here had the spurs over the Lakers last year. And I lost all my vbookie money last night taking both losers. Also had Boston in 7 and Denver in 6.

No big deal! Everybody makes his own predictions. I myself thought that Boston will win that series... Oh well..

I also predicted the Spurs' first round to be Spurs in 6... WTH!
