Maybe so, but the vaunted rally from 1-3 has happened 8 times in history and one of those a rally against the Spurs.

It's happened before.

Actually, I believe it is 8 for 8. And, if you want to look at just Game 5, we are 7 of 8.

1999 vs. Knicks: Won Game 5, Won Series, 4-1
2001 vs. Mavs: Won Game 5, Won Series, 4-1
2003 vs. Mavs: Lost Game 5, Won Series, 4-2
2005 vs. Nuggets: Won Game 5, Won Series, 4-1
2005 vs. Suns: Won Game 5, Won Series, 4-1
2007 vs. Nuggets: Won Game 5, Won Series, 4-1
2007 vs. Jazz: Won Game 5, Won Series, 4-1
2008 vs. Suns: Won Game 5, Won Series, 4-1

The only examples above where we were on the road for Game 5 up 3-1 were at the Knicks in '99 and at the Suns in '05, and we won them both.

But not this Spurs team - and not in the Tim Duncan era. Only a couple of injuries could keep this team from winning the series. This team is too mentally tough and has too much playoff experience to lose 3 games in a row.

You guys with your jinx fear . . . like anything you say on a message board has any bearing on anything in the real world. Ridiculous superstition. You do realize that the fate of this team is in the hands of the professional basketball players who are actually playing in the game and that they don't give a shit about you or anything you have to say, right?

Yeah? I didn't realize that, Aggie. So, all of the jinx threads are sarcastic? Thanks for the head's up.
