I'm gonna post in this thread to raise the average IQ in here since the previous posters have it down pretty low right now.

We'll sit and wait for Spurs fans to tell everyone what to think.

If Cuban is wise, Mavfans will have a fresh start to look forward to. Their core/this core has had more than ample opportunity to ring. They're simply not good enough.

Mavfans are fortunate to have an owner who is young, dedicated to this sport and the city of Dallas, and with lots of disposable income.

Cuban would be wise to face reality, for all concerned.

Well, the fact that they're still not technically out of it might be one thing.

Spur fan sure is shooting their wad off early...not sure why.

How quickly we forget how we came within one mind-bogglingly stupid foul of climbing out of the same 3-1 hole ourselves in '06. I won't rest easy until the Spurs notch a 4th win against these clowns.

The Mavs are an F. Scott Fitzgerald novel - 2006 was The Great Gatsby and 2007 was Tender is the Night.

A hall of fame player who's at his peak, an exciting rookie who could be Tony Parker lite with 3 point ability, an owner who wants to win and is willing to spend money, the DUST chip for summer flexibility, and hopefully the firing of a dumbass coach in Carlisle.

Birthplace and hometown of SRV. That can't be taken away. Other than that ....not much.

There's no such thing as jinxs

Jinx's are only relevent to players in that if they think it means something, it probably does. But for fans, it's the stupidest thing in sports. Fans, unless they are fans in the arena when a game is being played, have no affect on a game. What is said on sports forums, by fans, has no affect on the game. What sports fans think, has no affect on the outcome. Posters who say 'jinx' are idiots. They should go fuck themselves.
