What a shame. I remember him well. You never know when your time has come. Prayers and thoughts for the Restani family and friends at this time.

Amazingly, he was just a counselor at my high school last year. Great great guy. Always with a smile on his face and a great guy to talk to about anything. It was difficult to imagine him today as a member of the original Bruise Brothers. I made a bet with him against my vice principal for last years postseason, too bad we lost. Haha
But anyway, rest in peace Restani.

The Bruise Brothers rocked the paint in Hemisfair when I was a kid. Paultz (the grandfather of the 80's Bruise Brothers), Griffin, Olberding and the Johnsons were brutes and were fun to watch. Those teams had swagger. Damn those Washington Bullets. :depressed

RIP Big Bird.

Another one of the Spurs who stayed in SA after the playing days were over and who had a high character. Becoming a high school counselor is not a drop in job prestige in my opinion, but demontrates a calling to assist young people. This is a calling that several retired Spurs have demonstrated--not least the Admiral.

Thank you Kevin for your contributions to the Spurs and the community. God Speed

Before my time but it's always a sad day to lose a member of the Spurs' family -- this organization has always been family in this town. 58 is just too young.

All the best to the Restani's, and thank you for sharing him with this community. :toast

I'm trying to think . . . is Restani the first ex-Spur player to die?

Kevin Duckworth, for one, pre-deceased him.
