Baskin-Robbins, which has been selling ice cream for more than 50 years, is offering its annual 31 Cent Scoop Night from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at all its American locations. Let your kids indulge in a triple scoop for less than a buck and enjoy the fact that Baskin-Robbins is donating $100,000 to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (as a former volunteer firefighter, I can appreciate that). The NFFF not only honors firefighters killed in the line of duty, but offers support to their survivors and scholarships for education and job training for their spouses and children.
In case you have a difficult time deciding which three flavors you want to try, just know that the five most popular flavors are vanilla, chocolate, mint chocolate chip, Pralines 'n Cream, and chocolate chip. Peer pressure isn’t always a bad thing.
