Probably.

Neil Peart, best drummer. :tu

No Joke. I really like the part when the other two are taking a break and he goes on a 15 minute drum solo with that crazy drum kit that he has. That thing has to have every percussion instrument known to man.

Do you have the Rush in Rio DVD? He does that drum solo, moves from one set to the other, amazing.

Peart has been doing a variation of the same solo ever since all worlds a stage. I'm not knocking it. Just commenting. Yeah. I'm pretty excited about this. To hear Vital Signs live would be awesome.

I could even see him adding a little more "latin flair" for that, but no, I dont have the DVD. Maybe I will get it for fathers day.

The several times that I have seen them, the solo seems materially different, so its not like he is regurgitating the same thing. Its just that when theyhave no opening band and they are playing for 3-4 hours straight they had to get creative on how they were going to take breaks. I, for one, am happy that they didn't go with an intermission.

I think it's intentional. As I understand it, he keeps the same base but adds new layers on top for each successive tour. Or something like that.

I know I never get tired of it.

Every time I hear about Rush I think of I Love You, Man....and that's it. All the power to y'all for being excited about it, though. :D

you got it! He does that cowbell thing. The snare flurry. All that. It is interesting what all he adds to it. I think my favorite is his Exit Stage Left Solo. By far. So you got seats or lawn? I'm waiting til the day of and getting a lawn ticket. Hopefully we get good weather.
