No surprises here, but that guy is an amazing basketball player. He played his heart out, and did everything he could to keep the Mavs in this series. He's like a frickin' video game or something.

Too bad he's still stuck wearing those awful colors.

lol I agree, and you can't say its luck cause he does it time and time again. Too bad he gets hardly any help from anyone else. Butler started coming around the last couple of games and Roddy made a mark. But everyone else was really inconsistent.

At least they showed a lot of heart and gave it a run. They came pretty close to forcing that game 7. I think I aged a few years watching this game 6 :(

Dirk was a badass tonight. The only Mav who really showed the ultimate desperation needed in this game. Even more impressive playing with the foul trouble and getting banged hard a couple times. That S.O.B. is a warrior. Props to Dirk.

Where was he in the 1st half when his team needed him most? Picking up incredibly stupid fouls. The run and momentum shift at the end of 1st half was done without him. Amazing 2nd half but still the guy deserves criticism for largely contributing to digging a hole that proved to be too deep.

Props to his english too. I remember his accent used to be so thick but a few years back it just went away.

It doesn't matter that he was "absent" in the 1st quarter. He shot 30+ with phenomenal efficiency (far > 50%), and he's been consistently good.

Nowitzki: "I guess i've got some time to think about my stuff to think about my options. I've got till july we'll just wait and see" on his future with the Mavs

Dirk saying he's too disapointed/in shock to have made a decision or think about opting out. Could be just the right thing to say, but are mavs fans worried?

how does it not matter, last time i checked the 1st half counts just as much as the 2nd half.

He should go play fun and gun with his buddy in Phoenix after the Suns let Amare walk.

I'm going to imagine an alternate world where my Celtics pick him up for a moment... :lol

Not that it would ever happen, but RJ opting out and getting rid of Bonner would free up 17 million...

poor Dirk, playing with JT, JJ, Marion... and coached by RC

I feel sorry for him, he has been playing amazingly during this series

He deserve a better team and better supporting cast at his age

I will still cheer for him, even he choose to join Spurs or Heats

No shit, I hope Dirk gets his ring in the future. He is a class guy, a #1 option... just needs a number 2 and 3. He has no help. Dirk keep your head up.
