meh, i want them to be healthy. i don't want ray to bitch about how they "would have won if healthy."

we'll slaughter them with or without those two. seattle is nothing compared to denver.

yes, i'm pretty cocky right now. :)

I've said it before: the winner of Denver/SA had the easiest second round matchup in the NBA. Both Sacto and Seattle finished the year on big downers.

The Big Three have 44 points in the first half. That half was a clinic.

Manu not doing much. TP and TD just ripping the Sonics.

Good. Don't want Manu over extending with 3 games in the first 5 days.

I'd much rather the Spurs win against Seattle at full strength. I'd never wish injury on anyone, even a team as whining as Seattle.

I doubt that Radmanovic will play another game in the series. His injury looked really bad, seemed like how Duncan hurt his ankle. I'm pretty sure Allen will play Game 2 though.

Amen, MistiLynn. I hope the injuries aren't serious.

This is just one game. The Sonics played much better defense in the second half and basically shut down lane penetrations with only a few exceptions.

Glenn Robinson and Tony Parker knocking down shots kept the Sonics from making a bigger run. Having Robinson playing with confidence again is huge.

I agree with ya'll that I would rather the Spurs defeat them with Allen in the lineup and healthy cause after 99 I don't want no excuses anymore.

The Spurs will cruise into the Conference Finals.

I still say Spurs in 5, but a sweep is very possible if Allen isn't 100%.

The only thing Ray Allen hurt tonight was his pride, he quit, PERIOD.

Radmonovic they say is day to day, not OUT period.

Ray Allen will play tuesday.

Radmonovic though will be affected by it.

Allen didn't hurt shit.

I want Ray getting his ass kicked at 120%. I don't want any damn excuses.

Radmanovic looked bad, but at least there wasn't a lot of weight placed on the strain. Really unfortunate, though. We've all tweaked our ankles that way, simply by planting wrong. Hopefully he'll be back soon.

Allen, however, was a total punk. He didn't want to play. Game was turning into a laugher and he wanted out of there. Any other player in the universe could have picked back up and ran the tweak off - kind of like he walked on his own volition to the locker room to beg for an MRI. That injury was nothing.

What is with all the Allen-hate? I agree that he whines, but he's a great player and a class citizen. I want to see him healthy too so he's got nothing to be complaining about as we hand them their heads on pikes, but even if he does whinge I don't get the hate. Dislike, maybe...

(Oh, and I know about his Bowen comments earlier in the season, and love Bruce as I do, sometimes I think he gets away with mauling people - not dirty, but he still gets away with stepping under people and hacking them quite a bit from what I see. He also gets called for a lot of phantoms. However, he's the guy on the pickup court that you don't want guarding you because he'll manhandle you all afternoon, then when you tell him to call a foul he'll look at you like "who, me?")

Why is it Allen-hate to point out the fact that he didn't look like he hurt his ankle that badly? I thought he pulled a Roberto Duran. It ain't hatin' if it's the truth.
