First #7 seed to win in the first round in a 7 game series!
:toast
Mavericks, meanwhile, become the only team to lose to an 8th seed AND a 7th seed in a best-of-seven first round series.

Dallas has a good chance of setting the record for the first team to lose to every seed in the playoffs (despite only have 16 playoff appearances in franchise history - 29 for the Spurs and Suns each). I hope they get the record!

Didn't we set them to an all time low at the 1st quarter and the half?

More importantly the Spurs were the first western conference team to win their series.
Didn't we set them to an all time low at the 1st quarter and the half?
Mavericks set a franchise low for points in a first half of a playoff game.
Their 8-points in the first quarter narrowly beat the infamous 7-point quarter they put up against the Heat to spark the meltdown.

Mavs were the SW champs in 07 and 10.
Result: Two first round exits against the 8th and 7th seed.

San Antonio is only the fifth No. 7 seed to win a first-round series, and the first since the opening round became a best-of-7 in 2003. It hadn’t been done since New York beat Miami in 1998.
