We all know our next opponents are either phx or blazers, now I wanted to discuss your thoughts on what team you like the spurs to take on, the team you think the spurs will dominate and have great chances on advancing to the con finals. I haven't really decide yet on my choice but I'd like go with phx for us to take on because for me the blazers are a much deeper team than phx. Feel free to post your comments! Go Spurs Go!

Doesn't matter, I just hope they go 7.

I have no preference right now, except that Portland win tonight to drag the series to 7. Pros and cons to both teams. I think we can beat either, and I don't think either will be easy.

either team should be fine....but spurs have got to play very carefully with the suns....

Yeah, I hope PHX-POR goes to 7 so our guys can get more rest.

Despite the Spurs' difficulties with Portland in the regular season, I'm leaning towards the Blazers. On the other hand, SA usually plays Phoenix well in the playoffs. If it is the Suns, I hope Pop doesn't go full retard and try small ball against them.

I agree with you guys the best chance to get at least one or maybe 2 on their homecourt is that get them tired play the seventh game give the spurs more rest. And yeah we can beat both teams but not that easily

I want Portland to win tonight so we get more rest, but I want Phoenix to win the series since I think we match up better against them. Portland always plays us tough, even without Roy. They are a tougher, more physical, better defensive team. Like the Jazz.

If we face Phoenix, we will be the underdog, if we play Portland, the favorites, even though they're seeded higher. I like being the underdog. I think the Spurs play better, more focused ball, when they play a team they have a more recent history with.

Also, I am a basketball fan, it will be a more intriguing and entertaining series if we face the Suns.

I will say this. Rose Garden is much more daunting than playing in Phoenix.

as much as revenge we had against the Mavs... Phoenix has against us... I'd like portland but unfortunately I see Phoenix killing us :(

First four games of the series will be Monday / Wednesday / Friday / Sunday. With that in mind, I'm leaning toward Suns because of shorter plane flight for our guys between cities. Long plane flights are rough on older teams as series evolves. Either way, I want Portland tonight so that both teams have to play a Game 7.

The Spurs have owned the Suns. I don't see that changing.

blazers. that team is decimated by injuries. and they have a hard time scoring.

They are only missing Pryzbilla and Oden now. They brought in Camby to make up part of that and Juwan Howard is playing well despite his age. They're not as decimated as you think.

the way it's looking right now, it's not gonna matter. Phoenix is outplaying them. It's looking like it's gonna be another Spurs/Suns matchup.

uh, roy had knee surgery just two weeks ago. batum's shoulder is messed up. camby's ankle and finger are injured. that team is really banged up.

Both teams will make for a tough series. I wouldn't mind Portland though. Only cause I'd have a chance of making the 3 hour drive to Portland to see a game.

I don't really care, but one observation I have is that The Suns aren't as easy to push around this season, they've got bunker mentality and can quickly swarm teams. They're not as a big as the Mavs, but they got speed and we can't give them any daylight (hehe) if we end up facing them.

I just hope the blazers win this game and force a game 7. I don't really care who the spurs play. This is the playoffs every team is going to present some kind of a challenge.

i'd rather face the Blazers. they're young (not so inexperienced if they make it to the 2nd round), and they won't have as much revenge on their mind as the Suns will.

as long as there is a game 7, though, i don't care who we play. i have full faith in the Spurs regardless.

I'd prefer Blazers since I actually like the guys on that team (except for Miller and Webster). Phoenix just makes me angry deep down inside and it hasn't gotten any better with their new players. I'm getting aggravated just watching them play Portland.

Get ready for everyone to start hating Dudley about as much as they hate Jason Terry and Najera (both of whom have been on my shitlist for years).

I'm not sure which team I'm more scared of though so that doesn't really factor for me.

Hey guys, I am nervous about the possible Spurs/Sun match up. It looks like they are not missing any 3-ptr against Portland. I wonder how are we going to defend that.

They were missing ALOT of 3-ptrs to begin the series...they just started making them last game..

If Jason Richardson keeps playing like this, we're in for a very tough series.

I would like to play the Blazers, Roy is banged up and they don't have a big frontline. I know these reasons are a little bit shady but its the truth. I think Amare would just kill us in the playoffs, I could go either way though, still just glad that Spurs made it to the 2nd round and got revenge!

Well it looks like we'll be playing the Suns in the 2nd round. The Blazers have been so decimated with injuries that I'd feel bad beating them up. But the Suns - bring it on - time to end their season yet again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
