Don't get that here in Houston, unfortunately. Not that it would have mattered, anyhow.

Spurs' Blair to play after being in one-car accident

SAN ANTONIO -- DeJuan Blair is expected to play for the Spurs tonight in Game 6 after he was involved in a one-car accident while driving to the game at AT&T Center.
Blair, who drives a Chevrolet Camaro, said an object flew into one of his open windows (should've had the A/C going instead :lol) while he was driving on Interstate 10 about 20 miles away from the arena. He lost control of the car and swiped a highway barrier before he drove into a ditch.
"Luckily, there were no other cars around," Blair, a 21-year-old rookie, told reporters in the locker room upon his arrival. "I'm blessed."
Because the airbags deployed, Blair could not drive the car and was picked up by Spurs assistant coach Chip Engelland. Blair was examined by the team's medical staff and cleared to play.
It's the second time this series that a rookie on one of the teams has been involved in a car accident. The Mavericks' Rodrigue Beaubois was uninjured in an accident Wednesday while driving to catch the team plane before its flight to San Antonio.
Blair has played in each of the five games against Dallas but is averaging less than 10 minutes a game. Still, he leads San Antonio with 14 offensive rebounds. He's averaging 4.2 points in the series.

Spurs rookie F DeJuan Blair ran his car off the interstate on the way to the game when he hit a guard rail, swerving into a ditch and deploying the air bag. He wasn't injured, and a Spurs staffer picked him up and took him to the arena. "It's questionable for the next game," Blair joked about his car. ... The dismal first quarter for the Mavs was just one point better than their franchise playoff low.

Damn airbag.......as a result.....Blair felt a little after shock because that was the only time Blair has ever been boxed out.

Garnett's "I'm so intense I headbutt a padded post" pre game routine is looking pretty weak.
And I object to the terms used in the thread title. We have all beared witness and should know damn well by now that when there's a dramatic collision and Blair walks away unharmed...that's no accident.

LOL at Blair leading the team in O boards when he plays the least out of all the rotation guys by a long shot.
