Big Dog was our closer tonight. If given more opportunities, I think he'd produce in kind.

If you noticed tonight all it took was one layup for him to get going, I think he missed all of one shot after that.

Oh, and while we're at it, he basically neutered Rashard Lewis on defense.

I liked how Big Dog played tonight, made must of his jumpers. If he can contribute like this and play good defense on Rashard then he will get a lot of playing time.

He did good tonight., but Pop should play him more. I was waiting to see him come in when we were up by twenty and let Duncan rest more. It's funny but when he comes in I keep all my attention on him to see if he is playing defense and that he scores with that mid range shot.

I never give the Spurs management credit, but Glenn Robinson and Natzi Mohammed have been great moves.

To bad they couldn't of kept Stephen Jackson though.

Damn.

What a lot of people didn't expect was how physical he was willing to be on defense. He has the size and strength to bother taller, leaner players like Lewis. He'll get beat outright sometimes, but he's willing to smack the crap out of someone instead of giving up the easy basket. That's an unexpected change of pace after Bowen, who is more of a 'finesse' defender, if only relatively.

Never wanted to play D before he got here.

Damn, guess that Popovich guy is an alright coach after all.

Have to admit I questioned the Big Dog acquisition at the time, but it has worked out very well. Seems he's not the cancer I feared and may have prolonged his career a year or two. Nice work CIA.

I've always hated Glenn's posting up for turnaround jumpers, but as a spotup shooter he's proving to be pretty valuable. His defense is completely unexpected, and it looked great tonight as well as pretty good vs. Denver also.

Remember all the wailing and gnashing of teeth when Pop and the FO brought Big Dog in? About how he wouldn't and couldn't play defense and was washed up and the FO was stupid?

Chalk up another good 'find' that must have been an accident because those guys don't know their business. :rolleyes

Big dog been a nice acquisition for us. Has only helped, plus the good thing with GRob is that he can get to the FT line & hit them @ a high %, that puts the other team in foul trouble, which only benefits the rest of the team, like in the Den series.

That was a good pick up the Spurs brought on board. Big Dog will get you out of the hole If no one else is producing. :tu
