It's just funny; the same guys who picked against us are now favoring the Spurs

(Still, fuck Legler)

It's nice when the "experts" pick the Spurs to win, but I really don't care who they pick. All I care about is that the Spurs play their game and prevent their opponents from playing theirs. All that matters is the W.

This Suns series is going to be incredibly difficult for two reasons:

1) Spurs can't defend Nash like they did Kidd.

2) Spurs lack of 3 point shooting

Suns are not deep enough to stay with the Spurs the whole series.
I think Nash and Parker cancel each other out and the factors become the bench players and how well they respond.

Suns are plenty deep. I don't know what you are talking about. They have a very solid bench.

This is where Hill comes in; not only his D on Nash will be good, but his offense has improved, and we all know Nash is a shitty defender

It will be interesting to see if Pop is going to use both TP and Hill on Nash

I love it when they are in at the same time, Im sure it is a headache for opposing defenses.

After seeing their predictions for the last round, this probably doesn't bode well. :lol

They can't get it wrong all the time and stay NBA broadcasters. They missed the last round, get this one right and will be wrong on the next one :)

Hill should remain on the starting lineup, I expect him to go a decent job on Nash.

I don't. The Spurs could really lock Kidd up because of his inability to shoot or drive. Nash can kill you in a variety of ways. Hill is going to struggle with Nash, but lets hope he can turn the d up.

For the most part, same formula as prior Suns/Spurs matchups, Amare gets his, make Nash work on both sides of the floor, chase the shooters off the three point line, particularly J-Rich, and slow the game down by playing tough transition "D". The Spurs best 3 guard rotation in the league will be the difference in this series as it will be for the remainder of the playoffs.

Good post.:tu
I'd add one more key ingredient: take it to the tin. Phx interior D is probably even worse than _allas's.

And a note to Timmy: please practice your g-d free throws. Thank you.

Parker has owned Nash in the past, and Hill is and even better defender (and Parker is pretty damn good).

Until the Suns beat the Spurs, they will be the favorites in every series....

We own the Suns in the playoffs, anyway. Nash can't guard TP, Hill, or Manu. Spurs in 6. :hat

So because u don't run the guy off the three point line then it makes it difficult?

Lack of threes? Who cares when there's no interior defense and u can drive a day?!

Yeah.... the Suns are going to be hard to stop, but they have absolutely no hope of containing our offense if we stay aggressive.

Run the pick and roll, drive RIGHT AT Amare, get him a couple of quick fouls, dominate the post.

Wash, rinse, repeat.
