Did anyone watch it? I watched it last night and I thought that it was one of the better TV-Documentaries in ESPN's 30 for 30

It was a really well done 30 for 30...I think it would be in the top 3 for me with the Paul Westhead one and the Len Bias one...It gave me a little more respect for what Ricky went through when every media outlet was labeling him some kind of monster.

It was the best 30 for 30 I've seen, and literally one of the best documentaries period for me. It was fucking awesome, all that really needs to be said. Really showed how ignorant and quick to judge people can be.

I need to watch those 30 for 30's... They seem to have gotten mostly positive receptions. Maybe Bill Simmons COULD run a TV network... :lol

It's amazing that ESPN doesn't put that guy on TV more. His basketball takes are pretty solid compared to his football takes (which are more or less extended commentaries on the taste of Bill Belichick's sperm). But I mean, he really brings something to the table for anybody as long as you're a fan of the major sports leagues and not a complete fucking faggot. His idea for a 30 for 30 documentary about pretending Rocky IV was an actual fight was genius and should've been greenlighted. I would've cosigned on that.

^ Nickelback J, thats gotta be a fucking joke....anyway, that's been my favorite 30 for 30 so far, but I haven't seen them all. But the general consensus seems to be that its one of the better ones so...

Hey, Iron Mexican...I watched the 30 for 30 about the L.A. Raiders and I couldn't help but kinda laughing at Kid (of Kid N' Play notoriety...) rockin' a Compton hat...

Other than that, another stellar documentary...

Straight Outta LA was pretty good :tu I think Cube went a little too far sucking his own dick, though. I get that NWA was influential and their association with the Raiders was undeniable, but he makes it sound like NWA made the Raiders and not the other way around.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. I think it was more a mutual beneficiary situation between the two...
