Quote:
Bynum result: a small tear of the anterior horn of the lateral miniscus. He can play through it & is questionable for Game 1.
Quote:
Last June, a very small tear in the same place existed and Bynum's played through it all year. Friday's hyperextension aggravated it.
Quote:
In short, Bynum will play as he can through the discomfort.

lakers may not have injuries(cause if you can play you arent injured) but everyone on the team is hurt. if they can come out of the west this hurt it shows how good they are

maybe he'll just throw Bynum a few million under the table then buy Vanessa another pink diamond ring to smooth things over

It's pretty much over now for the Lakers. They won't get out of the West without a healthy Bynum.

It's been torn since last June.

He's using your Roy as an example and is playing thru it.

He's had a little tear for a while now, but this is playoff basketball...Either man up or get the fuck out of LA son hahaha..22 years old, making 14 mil a year & always takes his damn time..If he wants the respect, he better stop acting like a vagina every time he has a lil injury & play hard with a little discomfort. This aint the euro league.
I tore my meniscus before back in boot camp. Really shitty injury and takes a while to warm up. Definitely a mental game though and how he can tolerate pain. Long term damage is likely but Roy set the precedent for that.

Agreed with all who are posting about how this proves that Bynum is a terrible player, leader, and all-around human being.
Any big man who bails on his team while trying to defend their championship with such a pansy, irrelevant injury as a torn lateral meniscus is a coward, scamp, and roustabout.... the scum of the earth and deserving of nothing but scorn.
Clearly, Bynum's failure here is utterly unprecedented in NBA history.
