Unfair (that Manu got a vote and Tim didn't), imho.

Changing the subject: I think this is the second time that Manu got MVP votes when he didn't even make the all-star game.

Do these voters even follow the league outside of major headlines? For the second consecutive season, it inexplicably went almost unnoticed that Duncan was as good as any player in the league not named James in the first half of the season and while he faded (mostly due to fatigue, I assume) and ceded go-to player status offensively for the second consecutive season to in the second half, he still finished with the fifth best PER in the league.

He should have finished top ten in MVP voting and should be the second team center. Yet because uninformed media types have it in their heads that he's declining (he is, but they also exaggerate it) and he's inevitably not the player he once was, they no longer appreciate the player he still is.
