Sandra Bullock is moving forward alone on some more big plans she originally made with Jesse James, Fox411.com has learned exclusively.

The Oscar-winning actress is setting up a new home in New Orleans, La., now that she and James are selling their Long Beach, Calif. house, an insider told Fox411.com.

Bullock announced she was divorcing her husband of six years last week, several months after several women claimed affairs with James.

Bullock and James began the search for a home in the Big Easy before they adopted baby Louis Bardo Bullock, said the source close to the couple.

"Sandra and Jesse were in New Orleans just before the holidays last year and they were touring around town looking at homes and enjoying the city," the insider told Fox411.com. "They began their trip [in] November ... with the premiere of 'The Blind Side' and stayed for an extended period of time to enjoy the city. Sandra has done a lot for the city of New Orleans and she feels connected to it."

The source told Fox411.com that Bullock and James brought one of his daughter's from his marriage to porn star Janine Lindemulder along for the trip.

"At the time they were already planning to adopt and they had Jesse's daughter, Sunny, with them as well. The trip was all about family and Sandra was glowing," said the insider. "They stayed at the W New Orleans and went sightseeing, ate out and settled into the city."

How to handle her current separation from Sunny and James' children is still a sensitive subject with the actress, another insider close to Bullock's situation told Fox411.com.

"Sandra decided she will move forward with all of her plans, they will just be free of Jesse now. She will still see his children if she can, but that working arrangement will take time," the source said. "Jesse is torn apart about the separation of his family and he's trying to help his children understand what's happening. He and Sandy communicate minimally at this point. The lawyers are carefully handling everything."

Sandra's new life with baby Louis will be her therapy to get her through the divorce, said the insider.

"Sandra wants to be a part of life in New Orleans and she believes it will be great for Louis to grow up there. She has always been fond of the city, but it means more now, since the divorce. New Orleans will give her a fresh start with her little boy," the source explained. "Sandra will be a hands-on mom and Louis will be her focus every day. Though it's been a tough time, Sandra still feels blessed and loved."

Other than the fact that it's beautiful and has a tremendous amount of history?

Well, can't answer for everyone, but I'll be headed over in June because I've wanted to live there since I was 15. And because Tulane is giving me a shitload of money to go get educated.

Does she still have a home in Austin?

According to E! Online, workers from El Sol Logistics, a moving company based in Bullock's hometown of Austin, Texas, were recently spotted hauling furniture into the actress' Big Easy home which she purchased last year with James.

Sofas, chairs and paintings were among the items reportedly carried into the $2.25 million, five-bedroom mansion on Coliseum Street.

If Sandra is still in the process of finalizing the adoption of Louis..she may have to be close to NOLA to be near the adoption agency or whoever is facilitating the process so they can do their regulatory check-ups and all that jazz.

Actually it's a good move. He came to a jump stop when he picked up the ball. He then jumped and shot. There was no travel.
