Chris Bosh, dumped by a Raptor fan's tweet (http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/15736/chris-bosh-dumped-by-a-raptor-fans-tweet)
By Henry Abbott

Like some other free agents to be (cough, LeBron, cough) Chris Bosh has been a bit coy about his next move. On Twitter, the free agent-to-be has mused about where he should play next. He made a splash visiting with the Lakers.

The more LeBron James has refused to promise he'll stay in Cleveland, the more Cleveland has wanted him. But Bosh is playing a different hand, and his coyness has been met with coolness, as Chris Young of the Toronto Star describes (http://www.thestar.com/sports/basketball/nba/raptors/chrisbosh/article/804821--more-signs-chris-bosh-is-going-to-leave-toronto):

For Raptors fans and officials, who have watched the likes of earlier stars Damon Stoudamire, Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter leave town, it’s déjà vu. The only change is the technology, and perhaps that checkered history to soften the blow. There will be moony-eyed Toronto fans, for sure, but given the general level of cynicism surrounding a club that has missed the playoffs the last two years with Bosh at the wheel, it’s a safe bet there’s not a lot of wet eyes in the average Raptor fan’s house.

Or as one Twitter follower of Bosh put it: “Why is Chris Bosh slowly breaking up with us via Twitter? Get your s--- and leave, Chris. I think we’re all done here.”

My brother(lives in TO and is a Raptors fan) tells me that this is the mentality a lot of Raptor fans have now taken..the majority is just waiting for him to get traded and waiting for a good S&T package, also obviously hoping Turkoglu can be shipped in the package..

Raptors need to rebuild the right way..hopefully Colangelo will be fired as well, but that probably won't come until at least next year..

Bosh and Turkoglu are nothing more than first round playoff fodder, even if they make it.

Ain't gonna win jack playing no defense.

Your team owned the Mavs in this years playoffs! You can stop living through Dwayne Wade to get your "lol Mavs" in.

hhmm, give me Bosh over Amare. better rebounder and passer. similar offensive efficiency, probably more efficient since Amare is just a byproduct of the great Steve Nash.

:wow at the greatness of Nash. Making all-NBA players out of Amare Stoudamire and Shawn Marion.

Chris Bosh: Just to be clear. I never said that I’m not considering staying in Toronto.

I hate to sound like a Spurfan but go fishing and leave the basketball discussion to people who know what the fuck they're talking about.

Maybe Chris Bosh should take it easy with this Twitter thing (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Maybe-Chris-Bosh-should-take-it-easy-with-this-T;_ylt=AqcSe_tXc1vtCzXZ.Bedpem8vLYF?urn=nba,239215 )
By Trey Kerby
Ball Don't Lie

Everyone has their own opinion on how to use Twitter. It can be used for jokes, news or as a meme incubator among many other uses. Furthermore, who am I to tell people how they should use Twitter? I have a picture of Brad Miller with cornrows for my background (http://twitter.com/treykerby) and my profile picture (http://twitter.com/login) is my head on pilgrim Kobe's body. No one really knows the best way to use Twitter because there is no best way.

But geez oh whiz, guys — Chris Bosh is kind of trying to find a worst way, mostly by using Twitter to make Toronto feel sad about him being a free agent. First, he asked where he should go (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Chris-Bosh-is-using-Twitter-to-decide-his-next-t?urn=nba,238298#comments), and now he's changed the details of his Twitter account (http://twitter.com/chrisbosh) to remove any reference to Toronto or the Raptors.

From the Toronto Star (http://www.thestar.com/sports/basketball/nba/raptors/chrisbosh/article/804821--more-signs-chris-bosh-is-leaving-toronto-this-summer):

The Raptors' all-star forward -- at least, that's his designation until July 1, when the NBA declares open season on players out of contract -- changed his location from Toronto to "Everywhere" on his Twitter account, and removed a biography section that noted his status as Raptors captain. Meantime, his website was listed as down for maintenance on Tuesday morning.

Awww, sad face. This is totally like when Tommy broke up with Ashley by changing his Facebook relationship status to "It's complicated" before even telling Ashley that he was mad at her. Not cool, Chris.

This is all quite silly, of course. It's just a Twitter account, and technically "everywhere" does include Toronto. But it's also kind of lame for Chris Bosh to be constantly reminding Raptor fans that he might be leaving this summer. I think Matt Moore of ProBasketballTalk summed it up pretty well (http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/05/if-theres-such-a-thing-as-twitter-torture-chris-bosh-is-doing-it-to-raptors-fans.php).

So now Bosh has publicly opened the door to everyone on his decision, forcing Raptors to watch him elect not to return, has showed up at a Lakers game clearly reveling in the attention, and is now removing references to his team from his social media account. It's not a slap in the face, but it's not a firm hug, either.

It's pretty evident from Bosh's rather public requests for affection that he's looking to greener pastures. The hype that's progressively grown about Bosh as the best available free agent on the market has gone nuclear since Dwyane Wade's public comments about him likely returning to Miami. And that hype may have gone to his head, as his behavior lately has seemingly been geared specifically to garner more attention.

With LeBron James in the playoffs and Dwyane Wade having just been eliminated, this is one of the first times that Bosh's future isn't being overshadowed. He's clearly enjoying it. It's just too bad that it comes at the expense of the fans who have supported him for seven years.

Then again, not every Twitter account can be as perfect as the Big Ben clock (http://twitter.com/big_ben_CLOCK).

Even if Wade isn't init2winit, it should attest to how shitty of a poster init2winit is by people thinking Wade is his troll.

There was a time when everyone thought that Galileo Galilei was a big dumbass who thought the Earth revolves around the Sun. Many people, including the pope, thought he was wrong and he was sentenced to house arrest by the church. Galileo Galilei died in his own house 8 years later.

However, in this case, D-Wade #3 is just a stupid dumb motherfucker who would not be known as a genius, getting shitted on by other members and trolls. Eventually, he would get pinked by the great power, and banned 8 days later. D-Wade #3 still sucks in my scientific calculations.
