I'm not saying that they have a chance to win this series. But people shouldn't make fun of the Mavs too early like they did after Game 2 of the Dallas-Houston series.

Dallas was good on D this season.

Oh I think _allas will give it a good run, but there's a slight difference defensively when you only have to key on Yao and Tmac, as opposed to now when you've gotta try and cover all five guys on the floor.

suns or the spurs will win the title

Ya and its gonna be the Spurs. I want this series to go on long, but I want the Suns to win, so we can beat them and prove who the real best team is.

Shawn Marion can do a job on Dirk Nowitzki. Who will guard Amare Stoudemire? :fro

Aggie Hoopsfan

Y'all gotta realize. I live in _allas. I have to hear about the Mavs every damn day.

Dirk is the best shooter in the league. Stackhouse is the best swing man in the league. Dampier will be the best center in the playoffs when it's all said and done. Losing Nash didn't mean anything to us, we got better.

It never ends, except the days after _allas loses. So yeah, I'm rooting against them :lol

I think I'd go for Dallas only for the whole "they are in the same time zone" thing. These late games suck. :(

it is 8:40 my time

must be because the pacers and pistons played first and they are back east
this is prime time for east and is the more popular game between the two

SequSpur
05-09-2005, 10:42 PM
Do you mean West?

Dude, don't you know your directions? WTF already.

ducks
05-09-2005, 10:45 PM
Pistons And Pacer Are In The East

Suns Are In The West

8:30 Is Prime Time In The East Where More People Live

Therefore The Suns And Mavs Game Is Prime Time

SequSpur

Isn't it 830 in the West? Dude, I am frickin lost now. WTF? Its damn near midnight in the East, isn't it?

ducks
05-09-2005, 10:50 PM
I guess it is not primetime
I guess stern wanted the popular game not on prime time because more people would still watch it because it was the more popular game
to bad this is the 5 straight blowout nba game

SequSpur
05-09-2005, 10:51 PM
dude, you make absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Nash has 3 fouls and is planted on the bench. Ha.

dude suns are 2 and half hours from me

if spurs do want win it all I want them to win it all.
yeah I think suns have no class
yes I will go see suns play spurs
and yes I will wear my spur stuff
and scream spurs
but I can not stand heat with shaq
and I do not want cuban to win a title
pistons need to lose because larry brown will not play darko

Nikos

I think the Suns can beat the Spurs, but I get the feeling they would lose in the finals.

I think if the Spurs beat the Suns however, they can beat either Detroit or Miami in the finals.

Detroit has the personel to guard Amare 1 on 1 and not let him get 35 every game on 20 shots. If you have that, all of a sudden Joe Johnson, Marion, and Q do not get all those wide open looks. Detroit has a solid halfcourt offense as well. It's nothing special on a consistent basis, but if they are defending like they are capable of, usually their offense picks up enough to win games.

ducks
05-09-2005, 11:04 PM
I would not have minded the bulls to win it all but they do not have the talent
they are my team in the east and have been BEFORE THE MJ days

ducks
05-09-2005, 11:04 PM
I think suns would have trouble with pistons but not heat

Aggie Hoopsfan
05-09-2005, 11:07 PM
how about 3fta vs. 16fta with 2:43 left in the 1st half.......and the nba not rigged. whatever.

You don't get many free throw attempts when you're chucking up jump shot after jump shot.

Meanwhile, _allas has no one who can even think about guarding Amare inside, hence the FT disparity (I think 10 of those Phoenix attempts are Stoudemire's).

they have gone inside just as much as phoenix has.

No they have not, I think the refs stink big time too, but the freakin mavericks have barely took the ball to the hole, they are jacking up everything on the perimiter.

Aggie Hoopsfan
05-09-2005, 11:31 PM
I've got my eyes wide open. There's a difference between going to the rack hard and settling for baby hooks/fadeaways like _allas.

T Park
05-09-2005, 11:35 PM
Allas is playing its typical style.

Unlike 03, there is no Portland and Ramento in the road to the Western Finals.

The Suns though, are not unbeatable. slow the game down, take away their transition game, and take the ball to the rack, and you can beat this team.

The myth that you need to "outscore" this team, is wayyyyy overrated.

Phoenix is damn near identical to Dallas 03.

T Park
05-09-2005, 11:36 PM
adios avery.

T Park
05-09-2005, 11:37 PM
wow how bout that.

Take the ball to the hole, and get fouls.

Novel concept.

BTW, you can foul out Steve Nash and Amare Stoudamire VERY easily.
